About Shayna Harding
Shayna Harding, DNP-FNP, MSCP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with doctorate-level training serving patients at West Family Medicine in Pocatello, Idaho.
Shayna is one of the only few clinicians, in the state of Idaho, that is a National Certified Menopause Nurse Practitioner! She helps women experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause go from feeling confused, symptomatic, and stuck with their medical providers to becoming symptom-free, educated, and empowered so they can thrive again in mid-life. Her passion is in women’s health. It is so rewarding to have a patient follow up with her and describe how she has changed their life and brought hope and happiness. Women should not suffer during midlife from hormonal changes. She is here to advocate for women and provide the best care they deserve!
Shayna was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She has wanted to work in the medical field ever since she was a young girl. She enjoys caring for others, and nothing brings her greater joy than taking care of her family, friends, and patients. Shayna is proud to serve the community of Pocatello.
Shayna grew up participating in sports such as basketball, track, dance, and cheerleading. She went to Idaho State University and graduated with her Bachelor of Science nursing degree in 2017. She was also on the nationally ranked Idaho State Bengal Dance team from 2012-2016. After graduating, she worked at Portneuf Medical Center in the total joint, cardiovascular, and medical/surgical units for four years.
She then decided she wanted to go back to school to further her education and become a nurse practitioner. Shayna graduated with honors from Idaho State University with her doctorate in nursing practice in 2021. Her passion is in family health and development, perimenopause, and menopause. She also holds a certification as a Nexplanon provider for contraception and is passionate about women’s health. As a nurse practitioner, she works with patients of all ages from birth, adolescence, to geriatrics.
Outside of the office, Shayna enjoys many activities, such as dancing, camping, boating, and physical fitness. She enjoys her life with her husband, Spencer, and beautiful children. She is currently accepting new, qualified patients.
